ショートムービープラットフォーム「TikTok(ティックトック)」は、日本全国各地のお祭りとコラボレーションする「TikTok Creative Festival on Tour」の開催を決定しました。第一弾として、10月28日と29日に沖縄県浦添市で開催される「浦添てだこまつり」とコラボレーションします。
「TikTok Creative Festival」は、「集まろう。一緒に楽しもう。TikTokクリエイターとみんなの祭典。」をテーマに、TikTokの人気クリエイターとファン、そしてTikTokクリエイター同士のコミュニティがリアルで交流できるフェス型イベントです。2022年に初めて開催してから7回行われ、累計１万5千人を超える来場者が訪れました（2023年7月時点）。
この度、新しく開催が決定した「TikTok Creative Festival on Tour」では、「TikTok Creative Festival」の出張版として、日本全国各地のお祭りにTikTokクリエイターが参加します。TikTokクリエイターとファンの交流ブースやクリエイターによるパフォーマンスなど、TikTok Creative Festivalで人気となっている要素を切り出し、各地のお祭りと協業しながら地域およびクリエイターのコミュニティづくりのサポートに取り組んでまいります。
本イベントの記念すべき第一弾である「TikTok Creative Festival on Tour：浦添てだこまつり」では、40年以上の歴史と年間16万人以上の来場者を持つ沖縄県浦添市の「浦添てだこまつり」とコラボし、開催します。
浦添市は、TikTokのミッションである「創造性を刺激し、喜びをもたらす」、および、日本全国でコミュニティとつながり、共に創る喜びを分かち合う、「create together」のイニシアチブにも強く賛同してくださり、今回の協業が決定しました。
「TikTok Creative Festival on Tour」も、「create together」の一環として、さらに多くの地域コミュニティと協力して喜びを広めるため、様々な地域のお祭りと連携してまいります。
