FIBAバスケットボールワールドカップ2023の沖縄での開催を支援するため、沖縄県を事務局とする「FIBAバスケットボールワールドカップ2023開催地支援協議会」が設置されています。
同協議会では、大会主催者や県内各市町村などと連携し、大会開催に向けた調整、広報・プロモーションなど、沖縄での大会開催を支援しています。
今回のショートムービーは、沖縄県での大会開催を若年層や無関心層を含む幅広い層へ発信するため、同協議会とTikTok Japanが連携のもと取り組みを実施しています。
